Invite only for now

A real mailbox on the domain you own.

Not forwarding. Not a rented address. A stored mailbox on @yourbrand.com that you open in webmail, in Outlook and on your phone — with calendar and contacts attached.

Everything the big providers ship, under your own name.

Mooring runs the full mail stack — Postfix, Dovecot, spam filtering, signing keys — and hands you the mailbox. Nothing here is a redirect or a browser trick.

01

Webmail that stands on its own

Folders, search, filters and a Sent folder that actually holds your replies. Open it from any browser, on any machine.

02

Outlook over IMAP

A real IMAP account, not a forward into Outlook.com. Calendar and contacts attach over CalDAV on classic Outlook.

03

iPhone and Android, natively

Apple Mail, Calendar and Contacts — IMAP, CalDAV and CardDAV. The apps already on the phone, no Exchange account required.

04

Calendar and contacts included

They belong to the mailbox, so the people you write to and the meetings you accept follow you between devices.

05

Aliases and catch-all

Point as many addresses as you like at one inbox, across every domain, and reply as whichever address the mail came in on.

06

Deliverability, checked live

MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and leftover Cloudflare Email Routing are verified from the dashboard and explained in order.

Your apps, connected the proper way.

Every account gets the exact hostnames, ports and the one setting people always pick wrong. Choose a client — the dashboard shows you these same details, filled in with your own address.

Nothing to install. The same mailbox your phone sees.

Routing rules are not a mailbox.

Forwarding is fine until you need to reply, keep a Sent folder or open the address on a laptop. Then you are back to sending from a personal Gmail and hoping nobody reads the header.

Catch-all into one inbox

Four steps, and then it is just email.

  1. 1

    Sign in with an invite

Places are handed out a few at a time. Your invite code creates the account in one step.

  2. 2

    Attach a domain you own

Type the domain and create the mailbox you will actually read. Your website and DNS provider stay where they are.

  3. 3

    Point four DNS records

Copy MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC across, and turn off any old forwarding. We verify each record live and say what is still missing.

  4. 4

    Open it everywhere

Webmail in the browser, IMAP in Outlook, Mail + Calendar + Contacts on the phone. One mailbox, the same in every place.

The things people ask first.

Do my email addresses change?

No. You keep hello@yourbrand.com. Mooring is only where the mailbox lives — the domain stays yours and your website stays exactly where it is.

Is this just forwarding with extra steps?

The opposite. Forwarding drops copies into another inbox and you can never truly reply as your own address. Mooring stores the mail, so webmail, Outlook and your phone all open the same mailbox.

Does Outlook actually work?

Yes, as IMAP — a real mailbox, not a forward. Calendar and contacts on classic Outlook go over CalDAV. On an iPhone you add Mail, then Calendar, then Contacts with the same login.

How many domains and mailboxes do I get?

One domain and one mailbox by default, which suits most people starting out. Ask and we will lift either to unlimited on your account.

Can I use aliases and a catch-all?

Yes. Point as many addresses as you like at one mailbox, across every domain you have attached, and replies go out as the address the mail arrived on.

Why is signup invite only?

Open mail signup attracts spammers, and one bad sender damages delivery for everyone on the platform. We open a small number of places at a time instead.

Places are handed out by invite.

Accounts start with one domain and one mailbox, which is plenty to move off forwarding. Ask and we lift it. Signup stays narrow so delivery stays clean for everyone already here.
